The Business Process Improvement Leader’s role is to identify, assess, and execute the CI strategy methods across assigned business functions to improve processes, deliver value (results) and coach and develop leaders in executing on additional CI projects/work. Reporting to a senior member of the leadership team, this individual will perform business process assessment(s), research solutions, scope, plan, execute and facilitate outcomes, and sustain improvements through standardized methodology and procedures.


  1. Identify and project manage various organizational improvement initiatives
  2. Adoption of digitization and automation tools
  3. Digital whiteboard, collaboration tools, modernize work processes
  4. Coach and develop organizational teams in methodology for improvement initiatives
  5. Identify, scope, and implement cross functional business process improvements in corporate support functions – Sales, HR, Finance, IT


  • Access and generate measurement and assessment tools enabling operational and business leaders to evaluate potential areas for formal continuous improvement actions and to subsequently determine their operational and financial value.
  • Business process improvements.
  • Recommend continuous improvement based on evaluating business processes and financial data and qualitative analysis based on observation and discussion; supported by proposed budget and cost/benefit assessments.
  • Project manage approved continuous improvement programs by coordinating necessary resources and setting and implementing budgetary and timing controls to achieve chartered goals.
  • Coach, counsel and train managers and staff to apply, support, sustain and develop a continuous improvement culture.
  • Facilitate and lead continuous improvement events as a subject matter expert while empowering operational staff and associates to present ideas and create improvements and solutions.
  • Leverage best practices gained through continuous improvement activities to other activities which would benefit from implementation.
  • Execute formulated or directed plans individually and through teams, notably through coordinating and running successful CI events with quantified success.
  • Manage own time and to formulate priorities to manage several tasks at once without frequent direction.
  • Identify and plan to avoid potential barriers. Facilitate resolving barriers with sponsors.
  • Monitor cost, schedule and performance of projects and events. Evaluate and take remedial actions to achieve sustained success.

  • Tech savvy – proficient on Microsoft Office products and other collaboration tools


  • Degree in a related field with 4 years of job related experience or master’s degree in business, manufacturing/logistics, or engineering
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in coaching and developing team
  • Five or more years’ experience in operations, process improvement, or related function
