J. Barrie Shineton
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Shineton was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation in 2004. He has held various positions within Norbord, including Executive Vice President, Wood Products of Norbord Inc., President of Norbord Industries Inc. and Managing Director, Norbord Limited (UK). Mr. Shineton has more than 30 years experience in the forest industry, having held senior level marketing, sales and operations positions for companies in North America and Europe. Mr. Shineton holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
Peter C. Wijnbergen
Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Wijnbergen was appointed Chief Operating Officer September 1, 2010. Prior thereto Mr. Wijnbergen held the positions of Senior Vice President, Eastern Operations from December 2007 to September 2010 and Senior Vice President Marketing, Sales and Logistics of Norbord Inc. from January 2005 to December 2007, prior to which he was Vice President Sales, Marketing and Logistics of Norbord Industries Inc. Mr. Wijnbergen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from University of Toronto and speaks fluently in English, French, Dutch and German.
Robin E. Lampard
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Lampard joined Norbord Inc. in 1996 and was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in February, 2008. Prior to her appointment, Ms. Lampard was Vice President, Treasurer since 2002. Ms. Lampard held a number of progressively senior financial management roles from 1996 to 2002. Ms. Lampard holds an MBA degree from the University of Toronto and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Nigel Banks
Senior Vice President, Corporate Services
Mr. Banks joined Norbord Inc. as Senior Vice President, Corporate Services in 2010. He has extensive experience in human resources management at the executive level, having worked in the mining, manufacturing, high tech, health care and lumber sectors in both South Africa and Canada for more than 25 years. Prior to joining Norbord, he was Vice President, Human Resources for LifeLabs in Vancouver, British Columbia. Mr. Banks holds degrees in Psychology and Theology.
Karl R. Morris
Senior Vice President, European Operations
Mr. Morris was appointed managing Director of Norbord’s European Operations in June 2003 and was appointed Senior Vice President, European Operations in 2005. Prior to these appointments he was Site Director at Norbord’s South Molton mill for five years. Prior to joining Norbord, Mr. Morris had nearly 15 years experience in the conversion sector of the panel industry with senior roles in operations, supply chain management and ultimately as Managing Director of one of Norbord’s then key Particleboard customers. Mr. Morris holds a degree in Geography from Oxford University in England.
Michael J. Dawson
Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Logistics
Mr. Dawson was appointed Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Logistics in 2008. Since joining Norbord in 1990, Mr. Dawson has held a number of increasingly senior positions in both Canada and the United States. Prior to his current appointment, he was Norbord’s Director of Sales, Marketing and Logistics. Mr. Dawson has a Bachelor of Science in Forest Products from Iowa State University and over 30 years experience in sales and marketing.
