OSB specialist, Norbord, sponsored a unique installation at this year’s Venice Architecture Biennale, the first dedicated Scottish presence at the prestigious event. Created by Glasgow-based Gareth Hoskins Architects, ‘A Gathering Space’ is located outside the main railway station opposite the Grand Canal in Venice.

Norbord sponsored all the SterlingOSB required for the construction of this temporary structure, which was commissioned by The Lighthouse, Scotland’s National Architecture and Design Centre and supported by the Scottish Government.

‘A Gathering Space’ formed the platform for a series of debates and presentations that tied together current trends in architecture and the differences architecture makes to our lives during the opening days of the Biennale.
