British design company, Mulberry, used Norbord’s SterlingOSB and particleboard to make stylish window displays to promote its men’s accessories in its standalone stores around the country recently, including the new one in Edinburgh’s Multree Walk on Clyde Street. The OSB was cut and positioned so that the Norbord logo, as part of the board marking, was in view to passers by.
Eric Greenbaum of Black’s Visual Merchandising, the company that made the displays, said: “When Mulberry asked us to use timber products to create a raw look for the window displays, we picked out Norbord’s SterlingOSB which we felt would allow us to achieve the right visual effect that was required.”
Over the period of a fortnight, Black’s used approximately 30 sheets of Norbord’s SterlingOSB to make the window displays for around ten Mulberry stores around the country, using about three sheets for each display.
The Mulberry store in Clyde Street, Edinburgh, is next door to Harvey Nicholls and positioned across from Louis Vuitton. |
