Brian Anderson joins Norbord as Deputy Managing Director, Operations for the European business. Reporting to Brian will be the four General Managers for operating facilities in the United Kingdom and Belgium as well as the Manager of Engineering for the European Group.

This newly-created role is designed to bring the additional leadership necessary to address the extreme market conditions, rapidly changing business environment and the impact of unprecedented hikes in manufacturing costs in Norbord’s European operations. There has been substantial improvement to the bottom line, but the job remains far from complete.

Brian will be instrumental in helping the European business deliver the challenging future operational and business ambitions that we have established for ourselves.

Brian brings over 30 years experience to Norbord including senior operations and business management roles in the North American forest products industry having worked for Proctor & Gamble, Weyerhaeuser and The Pacific Lumber Company.
