Not only has Conti, the best-selling furniture panel from Norbord, got a new look, but it’s also got a ‘voice’!

A range of fun and thought-provoking advertisements and product labels have been rolled out across the new range of Conti products in B&Q stores and other DIY outlets and hardware stores throughout the UK.

The new branding is designed to give Conti a voice and a personality. Early indications are that the new look promoting the enhanced range of fresh, exciting finishes has been a hit with customers. In addition to the advertisements and labels, the brand is supported by a revamped website, active PR, and up-beat support literature. The main messaging continues to push how versatile this 30-year old product remains and centres on encouraging users of the furniture panel to 'just add their imagination' to get great results for all their home and office storage solutions.

Norbord’s Key Account Manager Mark Morton explained: “The re-branding campaign has gone down well in the stores and is a fun way of reminding people how versatile the Conti range is. Where it really scores over flat-pack furniture is its ability to be easily constructed to fit any space in the home, whether it be shelves, a wardrobe or a TV cabinet – the only limit is imagination!

“The enhanced range still features the popular satin white, in addition to eight other colourways or wood-effect finishes. Up-to-the-minute finishes such as Chocolate Oak, Walnut and a contemporary cream are included in the range,” added Mark. The panels, with the exception of white, have also been updated to metric with the standard 15mm thick board increased to 18mm, and available in 2-metre lengths in 150, 250, 325, 450 and 600mm widths.
