Stuck for storage but short on spare cash? Conti's clever Corner Bookcase project could be the perfect solution.

Just one of many simple home projects that even the most amateur DIYer can complete with ease, the Corner Bookcase can be achieved thanks to Conti's easy to follow step-by-step guide. Simply pop into your nearest B&Q, pick up some boards and follow the four-step guide to create an inspired bookcase that will make the most of that often unused corner space.

Conti’s innovative Contiboard panels are designed to take the hard graft out of DIY projects and empower the non-professional furniture maker to create solid, well-made furniture at a fraction of the price of buying bespoke. Contiboard comes in an array of different finishes to suit both modern and traditional homes – including classic oak and minimalist white – while matching ContiStrip iron-on edging is available to neatly finish sawn edges.

The Corner Bookcase can be achieved using just eight 2440 x 229mm strips of Contiboard, which will cost from around £32 for the boards. Even allowing a few pounds for screws, this is undoubtedly a brilliant price for a totally bespoke piece of furniture.

To help make life even easier, Conti has also recently updated its website to include tips and health & safety advice, as well as individual expert advice from Derek, the DIY Doctor.
