Norbord has appointed Mike Buick as the new UK Brand Manager. Within his new role, Mike will support the marketing team in maintaining the popularity and expanding the brand recognition of Norbord products.

Mike has joined the company from Scotmin Nutrition, one of Scotland’s leading animal feed manufacturers, where he has been the Marketing Manager for the last six years. Experienced in all aspects of brand marketing, Mike will be instrumental in increasing the sales and distribution of the company’s engineered wood-based panels.

Mike joins the company at a time as it celebrates 21 years of OSB manufacture, as well as a successful 40 years in MDF production. Commenting on his appointment, Mike says: “I am delighted to join Norbord and will focus on increasing the brand awareness of Sterling OSB, Caberwood MDF and Caberfloor within the construction, distribution and builders merchants markets. The company has recently invested in a corporate re-brand, making the Norbord name more distinctive than ever. It is a pleasure to work on such a successful product range and I hope to use this platform to expand on our existing customer base at the same time as asserting Norbord as the UK’s leading panelboard manufacturer.”
