Providing protection from the elements and a safe working platform, Caberdek from Norbord is a high quality, easy to lay flooring panel with a tough waterproof, slip resistant, peel clean film which is removed on completion of construction work to leave a clean floor surface for the new property owner.

Caberdek is based on Norbord’s 18mm and 22mm thick moisture resistant, high density, high performance P5 Caberfloor, the UK’s market leading particleboard flooring. It is particularly appropriate for designers considering the construction (design and management) regulations 1994 and NHBC standards.

The heavy duty protective film offers high impact, puncture and tear resistance, ensuring it stands up to rough treatment on site. When used with Caberdek tape applied to all glued joints, the film protects against spilled plaster, paint and weather but, on completion of work, it is easily removed to leave a sealed wax, protective surface. If required, an alternative film is available which offers increased anti-slip performance.

Caberdek has a tongue and groove profile designed to give a tight, easily fitting joint which embodies superb strength and makes it extremely easy to lay. Two alternative Caberdek fixing packs are available. Pack A contains Caberdek D3 joint adhesive and tape while Pack B also offers Caberdek Fastfix PU adhesive to glue the panels to the joists and perimeter noggins.
