Everyone in the construction industry knows the importance of the British Board of Agrément (BBA) when it comes to providing authoritative information on the performance of building products. Partnered by the government, the BBA has set the standard for technical approvals in UK construction for the last 40 years.

For this reason Andrew Francis, OSB Commercial Manager, was delighted to receive on behalf of Norbord three certifications from the BBA. The certificates, for Norbord’s Sterling OSB and Caberdek products, were both re-issues of approvals that have stood, for Sterling OSB at least, for nearly 20 years. Recognising the indefatigable quality of these Norbord products when it comes to durability, installation and compliance with building regulations, the certificates proved the products’ strength of performance against the BBA’s rigorous testing.
